i like this photo, interesting subject. the blown out part on the bug kind of distracts my eye just a bit but that's just a matter of opinion. i really like the composition and colour. good job.

I already miss the lady bug and here is she!:))) I like this picture, did I tell you already that your are an excellent lady-bug photographer? I think I already told you that, but it still be true!:) The contrast between the bug colour and the flowers is very nice. I like a DOF and bg, but I'd like to see this with a different crop, without cutting the part of lower flower. Maybe in this case the picture become more centered, but... I feel the cut flower don't work for me. The lady-bug is very good focused and the light is great. The caption is cute:))) You made very nice work here!

 

Your country have so much lady-bugs or you have a particular zoo of them?:))))

Ellen, I think I visited this photo 100 times out of the 1000's of views that you have. It is just beautiful. You must love your ladybugs to get them so appealing to the eye. Also, you must be very patient to wait for it to be just in the right position. And also :-), you must be a fantastic photographer to see the scenery. The colors, the framing, the triangle formed by the ladybug and the grapes... just amazing. I need to change my rating to 7/7, it's just too beautiful.

 

Again, I need to say thank you for visiting my work. I continue to feel extremely honored by your ratings and words, they encourage me to go out and shoot more. Shall you have a second, would you look at my last submission, rate and maybe leave a critique if time permits? I got this flower alone in the dark and these drops of light.
