"Hachula" lake in Galilee is a center for birds in migration time. The huge amount of them, and the different species is overhelming. They are causing a considerable damage to the agricultural fields, but the phenomenon is breath taking.

Please comment your thoughts, Thanks, Pnina

The chance to have this big group of white birds makes your composition strong and attractive.

I like the soft colors too.

Not sure the grass in the foreground was necessary.

Regards.

This is very beautiful, Pnina. Almost like a painting. Lovely soft pastel colours. The reflection on the 'strip' of water is esp enchanting. I like this very much.

Again, lovely. The banding of colors makes for a very strong composition -- green/brown grass, reflection, dark birds, light birds, dark again, and then grass again. As in the other one, the misty look enhances the mood.

Pnina, it's absolutely incredible piece of painting, I like the tones became more warm as the sunrise, good play with soft light & foggy surroundings, and nice reflection for foreground, feel so great..., really artistic & effective, STUNNING!!! Best regards. 7/7

Very interesting composition. An unusual combination of birds for me. I always see the cranes in spring and fall on their flight between their summer and winter places.

Pnina, this one is a jewel. I think my response is similar to Chris'. Its the banding and alteration of pattern that takes this one to another level. The reflection greatly contributes to the above...Regards

We started at 4 am from the center in order to arrive at 6.30 am. up to the Galilee. There is a closed vehicle , open only to one side that took us very near to that huge group. The fog was very thick in the begining but slowly cleared a little and helped to create the soft atmospher.

Thanks for your feedback. Pnina

beautiful light, counterpoint motion of two rows of birds, mist in the air - a very impressive result!

in the end a reason to get up early! Absolutely lovely colours on these creatures in that sunny mist - I'm also not sure about the stripe of grass at the bottom, maybe you need it as a contrast. This is really a dream!

This is simply impressive. The ribbon of silver in the foreground and that pink ribbon in the middleground provides a most pleasing spectacle. My congrats Pnina on such a lovely painting of nature's riches. Regards, Kelvin.

This is really a nice photo. I like a lot the fact that it looks like a painting. In fact, I'm trying to achieve something like this with some of my photo lately. Any hint you can share with me? How much post-processing was done here? And mainly, what kind of post-processing. Whatever you did, you did a marvelous job.

Lee, who is William Moris? Link?

Gaetan, I know your passion for birds...

Haleh and Amar, Positive spine... I like that.

Naftali, Hachula lake, you know where to find it, just needs the right timing...

Alec and Manolis, thanks for appreciation

Jim and Mark, thanks as well, Jim I hope you will be right( selling...)

Andrea, imo the lower strip is importent to the composition

Stephane, ready for give you all details, but there was no post processing, it is as was taken I added some saturation and sharpened it. The soft appearance is because of the morning fog.

Technical details are: Shutter Speed: 1/640, F-8, Focal length: 149mm( lens Sigma apo 70-300, ) Iso : 400. If you have more question and I know them, you are more than welcome!

Thanks again to all of you, Pnina
