Very nice, well composed image. Because the top right corner seems blown out, I would suggest cropping half way down the top umbrella. You'd still have a lovely compelling image, in my opinion.

I've thought about cropping the right top corner... But I might take most of the big umbrella away then.

I could have more to post later, but I have to scan the films first. "More umbrellas",is what I was looking for last time I went to Japan, alas...

Great image, love the repetition, shapes and colours.

I agree with the other reviewers...great composition, colors, repeating patterns. It really caught my eye when I looked at your gallery of photos. The image seems to me to be just a bit soft (photo.net conversion?)...but overall, a great shot.

It's soft because it's a slide scanned with Epson Perfection 2450...

Yann, it is so colorful and so Japanese..;-)) The tiny softness does not take from the whole, very well composed.
