This home is next to the railway tracks which is in front of their

door. The kid look so happy inviting me into his home. I focus on the

plain slippers at the foreground. Even though the environment is

stark they are proud to keep their concete floor clean inside their

home. Mother is cooking and the TV is at the background.

Somtimes simple ways of living, without comparison, is precious happiness. Very homely & down to earth portrait of life.

Nice image, Alec. My only pick is the tv image at the rear. I just find it a little intrusive. I feel it would have been better if it were cloned out.

Dusan, Okmen, Alberto, Richard thanks for your comments.

Gerry, on the contrary, the B&W TV makes it interesting to note that all their possessions are in the hall, even cooking and sleeping together. They do not have any other rooms in their makeshift home but they are still contented.

Superb shot, Alec. Amazing timing. Great placement. Nice degrading light. Bravo!

Shall you have a second, I'm anxious to know what you think of my latest work. Please rate (and maybe leave a few words shall you have the time) my latest two photos: the arch of light andthe need to break free.

Thank you and I'll keep looking at your work as source of inspiration,

Alec, your portraiture is very masterful. The boy looks so natural and unposed. The tones are so warm, they match the welcoming look on his face. Regards. Denise
