kslonaker 0 Posted April 13, 2006 Interesting cat, what kind? Looks like a cross between a regular cat and some kind of wild cat. Nice lighting and detail, Bente. Link to comment

bentes_world 0 Posted April 13, 2006 Thanks Birte, Kim, Mark and John for your comments. And the answer is: it's a Bengal Cat. The history of the bread is that an American breader - Jean Mill - in the beginning og the 80'ths started this breed by crossing the little asian leopard cat with an ordinairy domistic cat. She wanted the wild look together with the characteristic of teh the tame house cat. This fellow is 8 months and together with his brother they are a very entertaining pair. High energy combined with cleverness and - when they decide - also very loving and affectionated. They are retrieving like dogs ... and love raw chicken drumstick ( is it called that, when it's raw.) The breeder of the cats don't like when I let them out on their own, but they need so much room for their high energy and I think they become much more harmonious if they have the possibility a few hours each day.... but pleaseee don't tell her.
