afterthoughts 0 Posted April 11, 2006 Interesting, 15 ratings and not one comment. So it goes in the land of PN. Link to comment
warren williams 0 Posted April 11, 2006 So it goes indeed Howard! Flabergasting really. Anyway, the first thing that struck me when I looked at this was that it had a slight comic look (obviously caused by the screen). The green eyes also contribute to the comic hero feel I think. I like it - it's different and very fresh as well. Technically it's also pretty spot on, especially in terms of the crop. Warm regards. Warren Link to comment

bentes_world 0 Posted April 11, 2006 Cat behind screen ... he seems safe in there but looks as he would like to be outside. Nice green eyes .. but you have the eye for the situation. Well seen and well executed. I like cat photos like this being more than an ordinairy portrait but also showing a typical cat attitude. Clever composition btw Link to comment
alexandra rauh 0 Posted April 11, 2006 Very nice situation Howard,I don,t know wich eyes are sharper,Yours or his,but You accomplish an original cat photo for us. the eyes are gorgeous, it has to go into a cat calender. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted April 13, 2006 Wonderful capture. Perhaps one of your best. The cat is perfectly positioned and the expression is just right. The screen is a really nice touch. You focused on the screen, trusting that the cat would still look sharp enough? Whatever you did, it really worked. And the lines of the window frame and blinds provide a graphically interesting ground that highlights the circles that make up the cat's head, the only objects in the frame that are not straight lines. Tremendous. Link to comment

schneekranich 0 Posted April 14, 2006 GREAT picture, Howard. Maybe it would not even be necessary to color the eyes, but I like it like that as well... Link to comment
