bentes_world 0 Posted April 9, 2006 This is an old tradition for the easter in my country. Mostly children cut patterns in a peace of paper, write a little poem on it and put their name in dots under the poem. Snowdrops are being put in the holes in the pattern and then the little letter is being send to someone, who then has to guess who the sender is. If the receiver not before easter has guessed who send the letter he/she has to give the sender an egg - chokolate egg. They are called fooling letters. Link to comment

bentes_world 0 Posted April 11, 2006 Donna ... thanx for your very nice words. Birthe ... du har ret. Hvilket barn i Danmark kender ikke denne tradition. God p峫e til dig. I have received 2 of these letters this year from my grand children and I better pretend I can't guess they send them to me .... so they can get their chokolate Easter eggs. Link to comment
