Patinated Copper

Detail of a sculpture I'm quite fond of, partly because I like a photo I made of the inside of

the piece; this is a patch of the wonderfully tactile skin on the outside.

Very nice, and such a professional job of matting and framing this beauty. I'll watch the NY Times Art Section for gallery show information!

Do you realize how many of your photos have the look of something shot in outer space or looking down from that perspective? It really seems to be a recurrent theme. I haven't been able to work the patch into my theory but aside from that, this looks like an infrared photo of the earth from about 12 miles up.
