It's a nice capture, but if it were mine, I would crop just above the tree line. That's alot of dead sky up there that adds nothing.

I think the sky adds to the realism of the shot.We have a swing and if I cropped in I believe it would take away from the that feeling.Thanks for your thoughts and your time to comment!!

Personally, I like the crop. It tells the view just how long this rope is. Makes the composition more effective. Great shot. Is this a bride?

Yes this was the bride.The whole bridal party took a trip to the this spot to take a swing..I thought it was a fun shot.I plan to post the bridesmaids when I have the time.

Fun shot! Very original. So, did she let go? I'd have to agree on the crop at the tree line. But it's a good shot either way. BTW, I like the other one of yours with the bride and the boys. Nice old time feel.

Wow.. she really did this? I hope she didn't get wet, or hope it was after the wedding lol. Very original, a agree about the crop.. I like how it shows the length of the rope.. but you have to really look to see her expression. I would have focused more on the reflection in the water. Would have given you the same effect as the long rope.
