The fingers of the geyser waving to the sun and the sense of dangerous proximity to the steam make this a very interesting photograph.

This is a very special moment; I like all about it; also the people as little silhouettes .Very nice!

Great timing! Wonderful shot here. Love that you caught it as the geyser shot off. Can't believe those people are that close! Yikes! Having them in the shot, and especially silhouetted, really adds to the image. Also, they show how large and powerful water/nature can be. Nicely done.

Kim, this image is very interesting, but not only because of the geysir. I think it is the combination of all those black silhouettes that look at it. Some of them stand observing carefully, others are amazed, and some are in dep thoughts. And all this can be seen through the way they stand.

The sky adds even more power to the photo. It is a very good background, it supports that kind of amazement that there is for the geysir, and it accentuates the black silhouetts!

Great!

Great shot Kim, apart from adding interest to the photo, the people also provide a sense of scale. Without them, we couldn't be sure how high the geyser is. Well done! Regards.

Very impressive contrast of colours! I'm in agree with Vaios: the green/blue glare distracts the eye. I don't know nearly nothing about technique, but perhaps

I would have moved the geyser a little more to the right, because now it divides the scene in two parts: the left, plenty of light and of sun, makes the right one to seem too empty. This is a good conceptual contrast, but i would make the right part end near the last man. I'm saying this because i like very much your photo and I think it s very moving. This is the most important thing. Good work! G
