Good character shot, but I wish I could see just a little of his eyes. I like the tones you did here, Linda.

What a wonderful portrait of what I'm sure is an interesting "drover" from down-under. His countenance shows character, humility, pride, and many years of hard work doing what he loves. I just want to reach out and hug him! Your choice of toning is perfect, gives it that nice ol' timey feel that's appropriate for the subject, you did good girl in the land of OZ. I'm still busy wading through mud and cowshit delivering calves, haven't taken a single picture, shame on me. Did finally post a portrait! Welcome home when you arrive.

I love the lighting on the cheeks and the nose. This is an excellent image Linda. The down-under agrees with you and you seem to agree with it! Your recent photos prove this out!

Great work. I would love to see his eyes. Don't you have another shot just a few seconds later? Cheers, Uwe.

Hi Linda, this is a really good portrait. . .I like the expression you have captured and I think the fine lighting and sepia toning are used very creatively to reveal his character.
