timberwulf 0 Posted April 7, 2006 I feel the woman is a little under exposed. She looks like she's very happy to see someone, or is celebrating something, which to me would call for more of a bright and vibrant image. This one comes off a little gloomy and dark. Link to comment
rob wray 0 Posted April 8, 2006 Cheers Gary the image was correctly exposed and checked on the histograme for light levels :) she is in shade where as the back ground is not but thanks for your comment :) Link to comment
timberwulf 0 Posted April 8, 2006 Those Histograms are good reference points, but don't let them tell your eye it is wrong. ;) Sometimes figures that are very bright, such as the white shirt of the person in the background can throw those off. Some dodging on your subject, or some creative layer masking with curves and or levels would probably make this a much stronger image. That is just my humble opinion though. :) Link to comment
rob wray 0 Posted April 8, 2006 But my monitor aint. It's nice of you just to point out these things. I do tend to play around with all of those things mentioned and probably will to give it a go on this image because you have pointed it out. Thanks :) Link to comment
