The image appears to not have a level horizon, which is further exacerbated by the angle of the rigging of the sails. Otherwise, I like this image a lot.

It looked level at the time; however I'm getting on a bit now 46 tomorrow, so it's understandable to allow me a little lean either way :) Thanks for your comments.

I totally understand Rob! One of my huge challenges is in levelling my photos at time of exposure. Both my D70 and D200 have the portrait lines turned on so that I can remind myself to take an extra moment to level her out. My father, who has been a pro-photographer for years has always had a tiny lean, and always in one direction (I forget which). ;)

Again, I really do love the shot, no one says it *has* to be level. That it's tilting in the direction of travel of the boats lends a little bit of a racey feel to it.

What was it the commercial said...

I'm in debt up to my eyeballs!!

No, not really, but I probably spend too much on camera equipment. I compensate by not having a wife to watch my spending habits. ;)

I really like the shadows on these sails, it really gives a good three dimensional effect. Nice compositionand effects.

Congratulations 6/6
