jnicholson 0 Posted April 4, 2006 Hi Julius, I like your concept. Without trying to force it into traditional rules I do think I'd like the couple a little futher in the frame. There isn't enough going on in the almost negative space on the right to balance the frame. The eye, my eye at least, tends to follow the railing to the couple, up the tree and out the picture. I do like the setting. Link to comment
Jebamony 3 Posted April 4, 2006 Thank you so much. By taking a 2nd look, I do see your point. Link to comment
will king 0 Posted April 4, 2006 Julius, without sounding sappy, this is a romantic shot. Two things I would comment on are I wish you had a better sky with big white puffy clouds. That would have been perfect for this type of shot. Also, I think the white T-shirt the guy has on blends too well with the tree. You can't change the sky, but maybe you can do some post processing and change the color of his shirt. Just a thought. Link to comment
Jebamony 3 Posted April 4, 2006 Thank you. Great idea about the colour of his shirt. I'd give it a try. And about the sky .. It is my fault [playing with PS].. Look for the original version soon. Link to comment
will king 0 Posted April 4, 2006 I really like how the rail meets at the bottom left corner and the top of the tree meets at the top right corner. I find myself doing stuff like this when I compose a shot. Link to comment
jnicholson 0 Posted April 4, 2006 Nah, sorry, Will. Julius' version is much better. He has established a romantic mood that your version completely looses. Over the top PhotoShop. Link to comment
