The centered pigeon might have been a bit too static, but it isn't. First, there's a lot of movement in its posture, which is nice. Second, the other birds in the background have similar poses that become an echo of the main pigeon. Third, the background colors echo the main pigeon's color. Extremely clever picture.

I'm in agreement with Phillipe here. Added to which I like the dof, throwing the bkgrd birds slightly out. The colours are wonderful, and having taken many rejected shots of pigeons, applaud this result.
