kslonaker 0 Posted April 1, 2006 Fabian, this is a sepia version of the shot...overall brownish tones. Link to comment
haleh b 0 Posted April 1, 2006 The sepia toning is not really working here. To be honest with you I work with sepia tones alot and certain images no matter how hard I try don't just work with the tonality I force upon them. Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted April 4, 2006 I love the toning. Really accentuates both the boat & the birds. Nice, nice, nice! The birds seem to be flying a circular holding pattern around the boat. Well worth a frame! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted April 6, 2006 The circling birds are great. It's wonderful that you were able to capture them in neat circle like this. The bit of concrete jutting in at left is a slight distraction; it could probably be cloned oout. I'm unsure about the toning, but I'd tend to say ease up on it. I like the image, especially -- aside from the birds -- the way the light is falling on the bow and cabin of the boat. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted April 6, 2006 I didn't tone this in the "normal" way - I used layer effects, rather than grayscale/quadtones like I normally do. I can try doing regular toning and see if that is more pleasing. Link to comment

kslonaker 0 Posted August 2, 2006 Thanks, Chad - I appreciate your time! I thought the tones and colors were cool, but I do have this in b&w, too. Link to comment
