pjmeade 12 Posted March 29, 2006 A BW of a previous post. Does this shot have more impact than the colour version? Link to comment
hilander 0 Posted March 29, 2006 Hi Peter, I searched your portfolio for the color version of this but didn't see it, so I can't really comment if this version works better. I do like this very much and I think it works great as shown here. A real nice street shot. Link to comment
richardbarnard 0 Posted March 29, 2006 Hi Peter - B&W version for me - I think it has much more impact. (thanks for the Warhol comment!) Cheers Richard Link to comment

pturton 10 Posted March 30, 2006 Hi Peter, Your conversion to a high contrast B&W does indeed have more impact than the original colour image. Don't know why, but it makes me think that she does not move her lips while she reads like many do. Interesting composition and in B&W it makes me stop, look and think longer. Good work! jeverz 0 Posted March 30, 2006 I dont know about the color-version, but this photo is really nice in black and white; Well done! (thanks for your com. on my gull, you were right, you see them everywhere :) Link to comment
alexguerra 0 Posted April 1, 2006 Very nice contrast of the still person against the dynamic figure drawn on the wall. It took me a while though to realize that the thing on the wall is part of a face! A small surprise adding even more interest to this shot. I'd prefer to see the shadow on the left side a bit more exposed, but it works well as it is too. Cheers! Link to comment
