latif 0 Posted December 25, 2001 To me the grim face of the street vendor against all those laughing faces in the background looked quite funny. Very interesting photo. However, I think another alternative shot with a wider lense and from a closer postition would give the subject more emphasis by making it larger than the background images which is too distracting as well rather than complimenting. But, I also admit it's easy to say than done. Good shot! Link to comment
babatunde martins 0 Posted December 26, 2001 Great photo!. I like the composition. and of course if we were able to freeze time in its place and choose lenses and film and stance we would all be alble to take a photo and any amount of bracketing however these split seconds when a facial expression and light are just right are onlyright once. You took your shot and i like it! Link to comment

jasonschock 0 Posted January 11, 2002 The background seems too busy for the vendor to stand out from. I would have tried to get closer to isolate my subject. Link to comment
paul_kline 0 Posted January 13, 2002 I like this shot, but I would crop around the vendor and the two men on the poster. Link to comment
amrish patel 0 Posted February 27, 2004 Hope Anne is friend and her comment does not mean how it comes across. The irony between the real world and the illusional world of advertising is a great subject matter. Look forward to seeing more. Link to comment
