afterthoughts 0 Posted March 29, 2006 I once met this man who loved birds of prey. He talked to the birds in their own language and they talked back to him in English. This is a picture of the man talking to the bird in bird talk. Notice the movement of his hand. He was explaining why birds fly and hunt for food while men sit around all day arguing about politics, religion, and the weather. I think the bird was confused by the logo on the man's shirt. Later that day the bird asked me why a guy who loved birds would have a horse on his shirt. I couldn't answer the question so I said, "Hey, why do fools fall in love?" Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted March 29, 2006 Looks a little like Clint Eastwood? :-) This is cool. Do you know anything more about the thing on the bird's head? Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted March 29, 2006 Poor bird - looks like he has a hood on so he can't see! I'm surprised the fellow has no gloves on - I think that bird could do some serious damage!!! Thanks for sharing... Link to comment
home page1 0 Posted March 29, 2006 That hood also drew my attention. I don't think I've ever seen that before. Maybe that's why he doesn't have a glove on? Nice little story, Howard. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted March 29, 2006 Howard, so different ,and unusual, what is really bizarre is the hood on the birds head and the man's gesture, and one wonders what is going on there...your little story is just in place.... I would have cloned that white pole in the bg. composition, exposure and B/W are very good. Pnina Link to comment
alexandra rauh 0 Posted March 29, 2006 Good story Howard. Funny, before I read Your comment,I wondered about the horse too..You got the typical character, well expressed, they belong together. Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted April 1, 2006 Cute story Howard. I often wonder why "fools" fall in love? Maybe because falling in love makes us all act like "fools"? LOL Both subjects have their "hats" on :)I like that. My only complaint is the white streak in the background. My eyes find it a little distracting. I might clone it out or burn it in. Other than that, super capture! Link to comment
