At the Tractor Pull this past weekend, they also had teams of

Clydesdale horses plowing fields....and kicking up dust. I liked the

effect of the dust and sunlight. What do you think?

Good photo! But I wonder if it would be stronger in color?

Hi Glen...I looked at three options...color, B&W, and sepia. This version seemed to be the strongest, and also conveyed the feeling of antiquity. Here's the original shot.....

Powerful composition. Great use of light and handling of exposure. The conversion to Sepia is good, better than the original color image.

Linda:

The sepia tone on this shot really makes the picture in my opinion. It's so better defined than the original color. Nice job as usual. See you soon back in the states.

Sepia works very well for me. In my opinion, this ranks among the very best of the photographs that I've seen or yours. 7/7

Great picture. I can almost feel the power of the horses as the dust takes to air. Well Done.

The colour mode conversion is definitely a success. Well presented Hardwork of labour. The dust & light are what makes this picture charming, I think.

Really beautiful work; I love both the end result and the original, they are very different in terms of mood, and both are totally lovely. Linda, your work is so beautiful, and so inspiring!
