pjmeade 12 Posted March 27, 2006 An unknown man sitting on his own; looking depressed and looking at his phone. I have changed the style somewhat from the colour version, does this have anything going for it? Link to comment
suzannelaura 0 Posted March 27, 2006 I like the contrast of the man's black jacket against the whitish walls. I also love the pattern of the shadows on the building. nice shot Link to comment
corbin 0 Posted March 27, 2006 Peter, I like the way the "net" is closing in on that poor guy. Works well in B&W; maybe you could have left some space under his feet. Link to comment
marco_ruggiero 0 Posted March 28, 2006 Very much! Modern man with all his technology and yet so prred and dpressed and as Claude pointed out, the net of the shadows closing in on him. I would add maybe a bit more contrast and as Claude a bit more space under his feet. Great image never the less. My compliments. Link to comment

colin carron 58,916 Posted March 29, 2006 Fun shot, Peter, with the looming windows. I feel I should be shouting 'watch out behind you!' I agree about the more room for the feet comments. Nice b&w. Link to comment
pjmeade 12 Posted March 29, 2006 Hello All, thanks for looking and for your valuable comments. It's interesting, I submitted the colour shot for discussion on the Royal Photographic Society website and the general opinion there, was crop around the feet. Perhaps I need to generate a third image. Best wishes. Peter Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted March 30, 2006 Interesting composition Peter, the net's shadow is very significant to the way of his body language, as well as the corner he is seating, everything is "closing " on him. (aside for more room for his feet ,( that was said) a very moody image with B/W compatible to the atmospher. Link to comment
