awaraagard 0 Posted March 27, 2006 'Mela Charaghan' [ festival of fire lamps ] is a call to sufis & saints all over Punjab, Pakistan. they pour in Lahore 2 celeberate Urs of sufi saint Madhu Lal Hussein. colorful dresses, ash covered faces, carelessness towards life & exhistance, humble gratitude & love 4 humanity mark the personalities of various hash/ hasheesh ridden faqirs [ darveishes ], who carry chains, musical instruements, bangles, garlands & body piercing 2 make their personalities distinguished among so many others of their creed. overall great colour & festivity all around. ratings & comments welcome.
