katzpjs 50 Posted March 27, 2006 Sam, you sure do know how to attract my attention! I would rate this as an 8/8 every day of the week, whether I'd had three glasses of wine or not!!!This is superb. Link to comment
lukep 0 Posted March 27, 2006 This one holds my attention. I think it's the dizzying aspect of the stripes and the wondering "what the...!" " oh yeah". Well done. Link to comment
weeble 0 Posted March 27, 2006 Yep. Really attention grabbing. Lovely pic. Personally though, I'd just like to see the foreground tidied up a bit, like this atttachment - Link to comment
pulok 1 Posted March 27, 2006 Lovely image! Well seen and captured. I like Mark Manning's version too. Link to comment
samn 16 Posted March 29, 2006 Actually Slavomir, it is as shot except for a minor levels adjustment. I was shooting with satuaration at +2. Link to comment
samn 16 Posted March 29, 2006 Mark, I like your version very much and thought about doing the same thing. I will probably do a version like yours. I just liked the "as shot" statement too much to post an altered version. Link to comment

bretsch 0 Posted May 29, 2008 Sam, I've been coming here often, and staring at it for a while, I couldn't come out with much to say.....I guess sometimes you have to be content with just contemplating something you like, and say nothing at all. Beauty may render you wordless. Link to comment
samn 16 Posted May 30, 2008 Juan, Thanks for the comments. I appreciate them much. We all do this I believe. View each others beautiful images, saying nothing but appreciating greatly. Link to comment
gordonjb 10,860 Posted November 18, 2009 Sam; Saw this today in the NW forum and had to come over to tell you how marvelous I think this image is. A great example of how the real world can offer up something boldly graphic and abstract waiting to be captured if one has the eye to see it. I like Mark's suggestion, those bits of vegetation in the foreground do break the flow. Link to comment
