6th Stree Bridge / Panorama stitch

scott_eaton

10D capture - ISO 200 - Canon 100mm Macro. This is image is a panorama stitch of 7 vertical images, with each individual image consisting of two RAW shots at different exposures combined to provide more dynamic range. Once I had combined all the dual images into 7 panned shots, I dumped the mess into Panorama Factory, and did some basic levels and saturation adjustments from the resulting image.Resulting image is approx 10,000 x 3,000 pixels, and should make a killer LightJet. I haven't decided what to do about the black obstruction in the lower left when I finally sell the print.

Please see image details for how it was done, and look at the larger

version before commenting. I've been staring / looking at it too long

to have an idea what I've accomplished

Scott, I'm not much of a panoramic guy, but to me it looks as though you've done a real nice job stitching the images together. It should look nice as a print. - Sean

I've always been impressed with your clean style

and creativity with subjects that others

easily overlook. Here you've managed

to create something entirely new from your previous RB67 shot

using a completely different style of shooting.

This image has tons of detail in it, and I would guess

that the larger the print you can make from it (while still

maintaining the biting sharp detail) the greater

the impact it will have on its viewer.
