great master of philosophy and deep thinking in general, let us shallow thinkers profit from your genius and interpretative skills and share your conclusions with us.

My humbled apologies Florian for bringing out your inner child. Let's start with the train tracks, shall we. To me the tracks signify one's journey through life. The poles could be major events while on that journey, like a graduation, marriage, birth, a life-altering accident, or even the death of a loved one. The moon could represent the phases or stages of your life, childhood, adolescence, adulthood, the golden years. The gears and pendullum are telling me that time stops for no one, like waves crashing on to the shore, it keeps on ticking. And last, but certainly not least, the sunset, reminding us all that with each wasted second, the sun of each of our lives is inevitably setting slowly but surely. Now, if you would excuse me, I need to retire to the dining room, so I can have lunch with my young family. Peace be the journey Florian, and to everyone at Photo.net! - Charles -P.S. yes i agree someone could see it that way. but i find that a bit overdramatized, and it reveals a quite dterministic way of viewing things. however, i like your interpretation of the poles next to the tracks.
