bryan olesen 0 Posted March 26, 2006 Oh Yeah! Thank you! I think this exposure is excellent. I do tend to prefer darker images. Can just barely see the top of the fence - probably wouldn't have even noticed it had I not seen your last post. This is great. Now, I wonder if somebody here could explain this phenomenom. Why the light appears to bleed into the water... Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted March 26, 2006 I can't figure it out - the edge of the water is right where the "stalk" of the mushroom starts, so it's not a reflection IN the water. I've never seen anything like it before. I have quite a few shots of it. It looked just like this in person, so it wasn't that the camera was doing anything strange. I'd be curious to know how this illusion (if that's what it is) takes place. Here's one more shot... Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted March 27, 2006 I can't explain the phenomenon, but it's amazing. Hope smeon will come up with the explanation. The shape of the sun, too, is incredible: looks like a heavenly abat-jour. Link to comment
jnicholson 0 Posted March 31, 2006 I think it's just the sun sizzling as it hits the water, Bryan. Nice and interesting shot, Kim. Link to comment
