alecee 0 Posted March 25, 2006 Convert to B&W. Still like both. What is your opinion. Link to comment
jason_winshell 0 Posted March 25, 2006 This is really beautiful portrait. With this shot you've captured both emotion and inner beauty. It's also technically outstanding. Well done. Jason Link to comment
sharshar 0 Posted March 25, 2006 Oh Alec, this is gorgeous! Of course she is a doll, but your photo captured something precious in those eyes! The lighting is lovely, and the crop is great, and I love the B & W! Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted March 25, 2006 Both wonderful, Alec. I prefer this one in B&W, find that the eyes look even more shining. Link to comment

jeremy_c 0 Posted March 26, 2006 Lovely portrait. Both are nice, but I prefer this B&W one too. Soften the impact of her "white" hair as compared to the color photo, which I am not sure is the case or the result of the lighting. Cheers. Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted March 26, 2006 Thanks guys, Jeremy that's just reflection shining from her black hair. Link to comment

kslonaker 0 Posted March 28, 2006 Both great in different ways. The eyes are so alive in both shots - I think that's what's making this special in color or b&w! Link to comment

talvitie 0 Posted March 28, 2006 Great picture! I like the use of lights in this picture, and of course the girl has a great expression as well. I'm pretty sure you didn't take this in a studio, but everything looks very controlled and well executed! Good job! Link to comment

GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted March 21, 2009 You have such an awesome Portfolio Alec...your skills yielding you much well deserved recognition. I could fill up pages of 'my favorites' & will probably put quite a few there.....but I have to say....I certainly realize why this particular photo received such praise. Not only is it so arfully done, such sparkle in her eyes....but she has such a beautiful face, I could stare at it for hours....(one does not normally do that) but she is an exquisite child with angelic features. Just lovely ..... and your rendering has frozen this moment 'in history'....thankyou for all the beautiful images that I shall visit often for 'instruction and inspiration'. Sincerely, Gail Harmer Link to comment
