Canon A620 at 7mm (approx. 35mm FL 35mm film equiv.,) ISO-50, 3 exposures with aperture priority at 1/2000 sec. (-2 exp. comp. for sky,) 1/500 sec. (-1/3 exp. comp. for mid,) 1/100 sec. (+1.3 exp. comp. for shadow detail,) table-top tripod mounted, and 2-sec. self-timer. Manipulation: Merged 3 exposures into one.

Clever idea, well composed and perfectly executed. I particularly like that several people in the composition are taking photographs of the globe at the same time. Your pose is really interesting, too -- this crunched-up figure at the center of the small world.

Really well seen & captured. This type of image must have been the inspiration used when creating some of the really weird but neat, photoshop effects :) Makes me feel like I'm in a glass bubble looking out, I like!

I have a photograph that is very similar to this one except the shadow is darker in mine. The biggest problem I have had is avoiding hot spots in the sky or the reflection of the sky.

 

This is very nice work as usual. Thanks for sharing your unique slant on the world.

Very good, Wilson! I have tried this but the globes in question are not as round and shiny. You have balanced the elements and te piazza well and the people are great :-) Looks like a huge bubble over the city.
