Damodar Kund is a very remote pilgrimage site in Mustang. This area,

close to the Tibet border, was forbidden for foreign tourists until

2002. It is a hard three days treck away from Lo Mantang, the old

capital of Mustang. This photo is from the top of the third pass.

The holy site of Damodar Kund is more down to the left side. The

prominent mountain in the center of the background is Dhaulagiri

seen from the "Backside".

Great shot. I love the color and composition, and appreciate the work it took to get there. The travelers make it though, and you got them perfectly - you must have taken the shots rapidly. The only niggling problem is that I think I see some very faint blotches in the sky (the bane of panoramas).

Impressive landscape of what looks like desert combined with snow? on the the mountains. The caravan complet that very nice image.

Yes the caravan makes the shot. Excellent panoramic, I thought it was an X-Pan until reading your tech-info. Then, knowing about the stitch I see a wee bit darker hues in the overlap regions - not a major issue, of course

I cannot begin to speak of my envy. At your skill first of all and secondly at the places you have seen.Regards Ken.
