bekster 0 Posted March 24, 2006 Ooooohhmmmh, yes the lemur is in the zone. Cute picture, might like some softer lighting for the meditative effects. The fingers are my favorite part. Reminds me of a lady I knew in the Plano Photography Club who went to Madagascar to photograph lemurs, she had a custom tour for that, Eleanor Avery... gave a presentation to the club of her lemur pictures. Nice detail and attitude in this shot. Link to comment

paula grenside 0 Posted March 24, 2006 The lemur is not "beautiful" as an animal, but your capture is great; the pose meditative for sure, but a bit threatening, too. Link to comment

pnital 36 Posted March 25, 2006 Ken , that is a nice and funny pose compatible to the title...sharp and good colors. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted March 25, 2006 Quite amusing shot, Ken. I'm finding the background a little distracting, but the DOF helps a lot. Have you tried this in b&w or quadtones? Link to comment
home page1 0 Posted March 26, 2006 The busy background presented a real challenge for this one. Fortunately, RAW images have enough resolution that a good image is still a possibility when doing a major crop such as with this photo. Link to comment
kyle_h 0 Posted March 27, 2006 Ken, a very natural shot and a good title. The sharpness is still pretty good even you have cropped it. You used the 300F4L pretty well and it makes me feel like buying one...:) Link to comment
afterthoughts 0 Posted March 29, 2006 Haunting eyes captured by your camera. The crops makes this work. Well done Ken. Link to comment
donnaalbers 0 Posted March 29, 2006 Ken. . . this makes me want to snap my fingers to see if he'll come out of this trance. . . the meditative pose, the eyes, and most of all the fingers make for a wonderful capture. . . Link to comment

aepelbacher 0 Posted April 23, 2006 I love the shallow DOF you created for your final post here, Ken. I need to work on my photoshop skills. I also love the "zen" pose you caught. Well seen! Link to comment
