Tremendous. Good moment perfectly composed. I love the color of the sky and the dust. The only quibble I have is the halo or artifact surrounding the rider's hat ....

Thanks for your comments PN friends, nice to share

Bob : as a matter of fact, this is not a halo, but probably a visual artifact caused by a black ribbon just all around under the hat (one can see it zooming on the pic)...

thanks again and best wishes to all !

This is a really nice action image, I had to look from the top photos thumbnail. I can't zoom in as there is no larger image but the halo around the hat bothered my eyes a bit and there is also something going on with the Pinto's tail, some darkness there looks a bit strange. Still it is a really cool shot, the dust gives it a feeling of motion.

Great shot, really wish the photoshop work was a bit cleaner. Around the hat is too obvious.

Thanks for the last comments...

I will explain again , as already done upper, that what you are seeing as a "halo" around the hat is a black ribbon border under the hat...there is NO PS work on this shot, except the sepia tone, contrast an light adjustments...here is the zooming of the head's guy, so everybody can see this ribbon, and the pixels (lol)!

Todd, as a professional you perfectly know that reducing a 6 millions Ko file to a 221 Ko file to fit PN format gives considerable depreciation of the original shot and some unexpected results on edges...nevertheless if you have some tech advices or tips to share to improve this, I will be more than pleased to learn, really...and I will thank you even more !

thanks again

Ok, I can sort of see by your attachment the black band. I would have to say that even with that, it appears to be a halo from some PS work. In which case, I personally would take out what looks to be a halo. It seems to be more of a distraction even if what we think we are seeing is not. That being said, I think this is a great shot and probably a very difficult shot to get. I would also think a very saleable shot in several different markets.
