afterthoughts 0 Posted March 21, 2006 I am interested in feedback on two things. My technique for black & white conversion and the content of the composition. Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted March 21, 2006 I think your B&W conversion is fine. Many may want a little more detail in the blacks, but you accomplish this so well, because of the content of other things within the image. Always a well flowing cotrast. Image content? You always have a way of capturing everyday things so that the content tells a story. So..... as for content, you hit that goal almost every single time:) Link to comment

meli d 0 Posted March 21, 2006 Does the boy friend bring children with him? I think there is a playfulness here that makes me think more that there are children involved. I suppose if it is the boyfriend arriving, and she is holding the cell phone, it seems more like "come on, already" or "where have you been?" than "i'm happy to see you." (maybe then it is The Boy Friend Finally Arrives). Wonder what else you saw?! But I do like the composition very much. I also like climbing those things when I see them, sometimes with my boyfriend! Thanks, Mel. Link to comment
sarahunderhill 1 Posted March 21, 2006 Happy photos of this lady.... I know nothing about B&W conversion and don't think I have much luck. Linda Keagle posted a great B&W conversion and she has some info. But there is a detailed info on this blog...this blog is fun and interesting, good photos and a lot of info. http://www.journalofaphotographer.com/ Link to comment
