The eyes have it! Then you notice how lovely the rest of her is. The lighting is perfect on the girl, but the washed out whites in the umbrella are a little distracting. The main focus is on her, so it doesn't bother me too much. Big problem with the D70 with that much contrast range.

 

 

I'll be critical about this one -- feel free to ignore me: Considered separately, both her face and her body look great. Her eyes are indeed beautiful, and very well captured. Also, the position of the hat is just right -- I like that we can still see both eyes clearly. Despite the blown-out area on her leg, her body is well exposed, considering the difficult lighting. But the face and body do not fit together. Her pose is vaguely sexy; but her face looks concerned, serious. Indeed, the image looks almost like a composite of two different photographs, an out-of-context face superimposed on a bikini model. Perhaps she is not at ease posing in this way, and it shows in her face.

No Ignoring Chris! As this is natural light I can do too much about that unless I PS the leg which takes away from the environmental conditions. The umbrella is just there for an ambience suggestion and purposely blown out for a bit of the ethereal. Her Face and Body Well hell its just a shot. I like her expression and it makes me laugh a bit. Kind of like "Who are look'in at sucker" Anyway we are doing some more with another one of her friends who is very pretty as well and I think Gabi will be far more relaxed! Thanks RP
