Its a Cassowary and he is a long way from home, native to New Guinea and Northern Australia, and you have done a beautiful job on him Bente.

Well I don't have any of these in the trees in my yard, thank goodness. How close were you? Color and detail are terrific.

HI Bente, I just got a few of this bird when I was in Australia, yes it's a Cassowary.:) I was looking at your work late last night and was so impressed with the ones taken with the 100mm 2.8 lens, I bought one from b and h at 3am! lol NOw I can't wait for it to arrive, I was wanting one that was prime for portait work, but also love to take insects etc...so hope to get some half way as good as yours! Any tips would be appreciated.
