There is a fair ammount of impenetrable shadow. The sky is nice. Somewhat pleasing, but I am not sure there is more than meets the eye.

Gray days are my favorite, but they're hard to render. The trick, I think, is to be sure there's some jet black to anchor the tonal range, as here.
