What happened David, did you tell her that you refused to do any figure studies? Nice portrait. Very touching actually.

Alon, Thanks a lot. I really don't know what else to say.

Si, Again, I don't know what to say. Try to think of this as just a photograph. Nothing else. Thanks!

John, I told her one of your jokes! To answer your question honestly, I don't know what happened!

Vrindavan, I have a feeling this girl and the others I touch would feel more sorry for you. This is a photo site. It would be good if you could keep your personal opinions about the people I photograph to yourself.

This is an excellent capture, David, and it interests me on several levels...although I'm not sure exactly why. It's a departure for you, of course...lacking any of your usual sly humour. It's also an excellent b&w image.

It is also not "pleasant" to look at, but it's hard not to look at it, if that makes any sense. The viewer has to wonder what has happened or what is happening to cause this reaction.

The beauty of this image is that it is REAL. The black and white works very well here and the facial capture is excellent. Very different for you and very good, Bravo.

Jim, I think all my photos are departures. As I have said before I don't have a style. I just like to take as many different things as possible. Even though I say so myself I do feel it is a powerful image. It is good to know photographers of your calibre, tend to agree with me.

Owen, Much of what I said to Jim applies to you. I should feel humbled that 2 of the people I respect the most should comment on this.

I told the young lady the same as you. She really has to understand that this is a photo site and not a forum for giving political opinions or spiritual guidance to others. She should stick to photography, she has a nice portfolio that she advertises ... while leaving such caustic remarks to others.
