billydodson 0 Posted March 17, 2006 Superb Shot. Would be interested to hear about how you managed the light on this. Extremely well done. 7/7 Link to comment
sharshar 0 Posted March 17, 2006 Thanks for your comments, I personally love this shot. I've done better things technically, but the light coming from the huge windows, reflecting off the mirrors on all the walls, just begged to be used for somehting. I was off in a little adjoinging room clicking away as the girls were dancing, when they ran to the teacher for the "huddle", I grabbed the shot. Oh, the teacher is almost touching the mirror with her fannie, so they are very close to the source of glow. AND..I added glow in PS. Thanks again for your interest! Link to comment
sharshar 0 Posted March 17, 2006 the floor was high gloss light wood! All in all, the room glows! Link to comment
richard_cunningham 0 Posted March 17, 2006 I also love this shot! Besides the appeal of the aspiring little dancers, you managed either by design or accident to place the print behind the group in exactly the right spot to complete a circle for the eye. As a plus, it echoes the theme of a dance class. I think it's a Degas, maybe? Terrific! Link to comment
giggles 0 Posted March 17, 2006 Great catch - a very cute "real" shot which I think are sometimes the hardest to get. Super job Sharon. Link to comment
