michael ezra 0 Posted November 5, 2001 Does this image provide you with a message of any kind? Thanks, Link to comment
paul_norman_dicaire 0 Posted November 5, 2001 I'm not sure what message there is to be had here. To me, it looks like the model is applying pressure on her abdomen, almost as if she's trying to hurry the process. Please accept my apologies, but I do not find this image very flattering to the pregnant model. Link to comment
mike_vanderson 0 Posted November 5, 2001 Excellent shot. I think it conveys a message of warmth and readiness. Link to comment
anson_jones 0 Posted November 6, 2001 It looks like she is squeezing the world's largest pimple. Without seeing her face, how can it mean anything? What does it mean to the artist? Link to comment
jesus wong 0 Posted November 6, 2001 the message to me is: Hey, this is getting heavier! Personally, I don´t like to position of the upper arm. Looks to un-natural and hard in contraposition with the softness of the rest of the body. Link to comment
jodie coston 0 Posted November 6, 2001 I agree about the arm. This image doesn't flow as much as the others in your folder. Link to comment
twmeyer 0 Posted November 11, 2001 This is such an odd thing to say!: "Without seeing her face, how can it mean anything?" I will think about this, and probably repeat it often at cocktail parties... For such a curvy form, this image seems oddly static, perhaps because the curves take me staight down, or straight up the picture. I am given no easily discernable rythmic circulating path inside the frame. The repeating shape of her breast and elbow compete with her lower hand as the only possible focal points in the frame, bouncing me back and forth. See what I mean? Maybe if the background were substantially darker than her skin, I could then follow the lighter looping path up her back, out around the elbow, down to the lower hand and back up her back. But because the tonal range is so narrow, it's hard to seperate this "path" from the background. This is a wonderful subject and you treat it with considered respect. Keep it up... t Link to comment
stephenh 0 Posted February 18, 2002 OH! I do really like your work with fine art nudes -- all of it. Don't know that I'll offer a comment on each one, but the collection represents some of the best I've seen on or off Photo.net, my own included. Congrats! Link to comment
