Auto Ecole

A driving school in the South of France. It looked like it had been

closed down for years.

 

I think it works well as a BW. What do you think?

I love it. Sharpness and tones are very nice. However, I think it could be improved if you moved over a bit and shot it straight on to eliminate the tilt away from the viewer. Anyway, great job.

Reminds me of old warmtone papers like Agfa Portriga Rapid.

Bill, I thought I had cropped to get this straight, but yes, there is an angle there (silent scream!).

 

John, I had in mind some Agfa paper I used in the 1970s. I wanted inky blackness in the windows but not too black. But those settings seldom produce the same tones on other shots and I still end up working in a case by case manner. I'm very pleased you like it.
