katzpjs 50 Posted March 15, 2006 Very creative and unusual, which would be usual for you. 8-)#I find that the eye on the left is not following the line of vision with the eye on the right. Is this by design on your part? It makes me think of a lizard, that can look in two directions at the same time. Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted March 15, 2006 Hi Shawn, on the eyes I applied a light filter to make them a bit ghostly . I saw the different direction but kept it. Agree there is a certain lizard(ness). Thank you Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted March 15, 2006 Another cool rendition Paula. Reminds me of the movie Mask. Link to comment

nirakara 0 Posted March 16, 2006 Paula, when I look at your images I just wonder at the thought process and creativity that goes behind it. Goes so well with the title. As usual it is extremely surreal, like a freudian dream analysis :-) Aesthetically, the mask is not smoothly blending with the tonality of the hands. I see that you do want it to stand out but I feel like you could change the appearance/mode of the mask layer (screen, overlay etc.) to make it blend in a little more, I wonder if am not being very clear :-) Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted March 17, 2006 Very cool, Paula. The title works well, too. Sometimes the body feels disconnected from the mind. Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted March 17, 2006 Your imagination is soaring to dizzy heights and your ps skills improving day by day,Paula. Amazing rendition. Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted March 17, 2006 Cherlyn, thank you so much. C TR, thanks for your comments. I see what you mean; the idea was to convey the impression the mask is slipping off. In this case, too, though, it can be improved. Kim, Amal, thanks lots for adding your comments to this. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted March 18, 2006 Paula, I echo CTR, I think it has to blend more with the hand, be more "organic" part of it. I like the hand on the BG.and your ideas. Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted March 18, 2006 Pulok, thanks for coming to this. Pnina, I think it can be done, or at least I'll try. Thank you. Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted March 19, 2006 A fine surreal shot. I think the merging of the mask and the hand might have more to do with adding a little shading where the fingers grip the mask - just a little to indicate where metal and flesh come into contact. Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted March 19, 2006 Colin, Good suggestion! I'll tinker with this. Thank you. Link to comment
