ianjeanneret 1 Posted March 12, 2006 Excellent exposure for a tricky shot. You have really captured the essence of the location. So much so it transports me but then I am Australian so it is a familiar scene. Really well done! Link to comment

cjrupp 0 Posted March 14, 2006 Linda, this is a special piece, the diagonal created by the light on the tips of the foreground plants moving through the opening and into the tree keep the eyes in the image. Well seen and taken. Wonderful detail throughout. Link to comment

WJT 627 Posted March 19, 2006 Hi Linda. I saw this one a few days ago and wanted to leave a comment, but the opputunity was lost. This is great; your title says it all! The golden atmospherics seen through the portal of trees creates a well defined point for the eye to travel into. Very nice the way the light spills through to illuminate the foreground flowers. On the downside, the bright patch of green on the left is a bit distracting to me. I would like to have had that mass either more fully in view and not truncated by the frame, or removed entirely. Still a wonderful photograph though. Regards. Link to comment
