Hi Amitai, this is a great composition and striking photo. May I suggest you try something. Increase the contrast and brighten it a bit. Then sharpen it a little. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the suggestion. It's always good to get real feedback. Personally, I think I like the first version best.

I hate to give another suggestion like the previous one, but I would do just the opposite. One thing I noticed is the lack of detail in the large green leaf. Also, some of the tips of the flowers seem to be too dark. I flattened the contrast quite a bit, then added some back in where it was needed.

Wow Amitai, these umberella shots are great, the warmth in the colour is very nice and cool compositions too.

David I favor your suggestion. As I've said before, you are a master, and I really appreciate your help. This one is especially useful. What I find interesting are the little things we miss when we get too attached to an image.

David's version would be hanging on my wall. The image capture is superb and David's adjustments to it make it a work of art. Very nice!
