Interesting David. You resisted the temptation to put the forefront into focus. I guess that allows for the chin to be sharp also .. smart.

I don't recall seeing an image of this sort from you before, David. This is very nice. Of course I'm a sucker for shallow DOF. I love the crop of the model's chin.

This has great potential and, as you might guess, I like it a great deal. I hope you did more on this shoot and will post the results. Film still works.

-Cheers

Hmmmm I can possibly foresee an entire series coming from this and being placed in the fine art section. Maybe even a section of it's own. Certainly a subject worth exploration in depth. I can see it years from now when they call David McCracken the "Father of Nip-Art". It DOES have a certain ring to it, doesn't it? I like it...JH

Milan, Thank you.

John, Maybe not too smart but thanks for saying so.

Peter, This is something different for me. I like it too and I am glad that others like it. Thanks a lot.

Owen, I must say I did have a funny feeling you would like this. I do have one or two more but may wait a while before uploading them. Thanks as always.

Jim, I have to be honest Jim and say I don't know what 'Nip Art' is. However, being the father of it, doesn't sound like a bad thing.

Thanks everyone!

One of the reasons this one struck me was that it reminded me of an old one of mine which is included as an add on.

Owen, When I saw this image in print, I did think of you. I did not think of anything specific that you had done but I did think that this might have been something you would have done. Seeing your image only strengthens and confirms this notion. Although emulating you was unintentional, I definitely think you are one photographer worth emulating.
