pnital 36 Posted March 10, 2006 All the women in Mali are wearing that kind of a turban, and we have learned how it gets its form. Thanks , Pnina Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted March 10, 2006 This one's a real stand-out, Pnina! The points of her turban all angles like that, and the top one fitting in between the sides of the buildings. Great job with the DOF...Her chin is a bit too close to the bottom frame, but no matter - her smile more than makes up for it! I like these intimate portraits, Pnina - they really round out the presentation, and help us know the people better. Keep up the good work! Link to comment
omerk 0 Posted March 10, 2006 Nice; framing, colors, background, dof, everything so appealing. Link to comment
peta 0 Posted March 10, 2006 Very beautiful lady and portrait Pnina! I love her turban, like a bird about to take flight. That is also a very cool background, the perspective adds a certain charm and it certainly doesn't distract me, all the colours work wonderfully too.:) Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted March 10, 2006 Wonderful shot, Pnina, with a great sense of personality, culture and presence. The background works beautifully with the other colour tones. I agree with the 'more space at the bottom' comment above. Link to comment
wogears 186 Posted March 10, 2006 Agree that the crop is too cose on the bottom, otherwise excellent. Could benefit from a touch more sharpening. Wonderful expression, and I love the touch or red in the earrings. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted March 10, 2006 what a lovely smile! great tones and dof, but i have to agree what the tight cropping at the bottom is concerned. Link to comment
corbin 0 Posted March 10, 2006 Lovely. I love the contrasts: The lightness of her turban against the stone background, her dark eyes and the red earrings. The framing is very nice - even if you cut her chin a bit. And she has a beautiful smile.. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted March 10, 2006 To all of you. I know her chine is a bit close to the frame, but I still think she is worth being uploaded.... Tony Georgiades ! you made my day seeing you here! Take care!! Thanks again , Pnina Link to comment

haleh b 0 Posted March 10, 2006 I personally do not have a problem with the crop being very close at the bottom because there is plenty of room left on the top. The crop works with the composition. Link to comment
schneekranich 0 Posted March 10, 2006 lovely lady, colours and background! This kind of Turban looks quite stylish, like she needs "turban-spray" to fix those tips. Link to comment
