alecee 0 Posted March 9, 2006 During a visit to the brick works I chance upon this worker all dressed up in her jewelry and colorful sari. The evening light was just right and she agreed to a casual shot with a very relaxed pose. I must say she looked very different from her fellow mates - exuding a sheer confidence not normally found in workers here. Enjoy! Link to comment

atkphotoworks 0 Posted March 10, 2006 Alec, one of the things that caught my attention is the lovely red glow on her hair on her right side. Striking image - I agree she has a certain confidence and spirit to her. Link to comment

alecee 0 Posted March 11, 2006 Thanks guys, glad you like it as much as I do. She was the last to pose for me, a bit reluctant at first but after seeing the images of her friends in the LCD it lighted up her face. So it work guys, show your stuff and amazing feelings develop with your subjects, especially when it is new to them. Link to comment
elaine_roberts1 0 Posted March 11, 2006 A beautiful portrait. It does seem to have slightly too much red in the color balance, but other wise a great shot. Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted March 11, 2006 Elaine, the evening light gives a reddish glow to the whole area. I have to desaturate a little. Link to comment
