I see you have been experimenting with darker backgrounds and I have liked the results. As always, I love Nandana's expressions.

 

Did you add the graininess in PS. I like the experimentation (I don't mean that pejoratively either) and the image certainly stands out because of the high contrast. I was wondering what the original image looks like.

 

 

i liked the slightly chapped lips and the hair strands so decided to

keep them.....

yes amar,i have been experimenting with darker backgrounds and am glad u like them.and as u know,i have also been trying to improve my PS skills,the grain has been added in there.this was an image i took a couple of months ago but when i viewed it again today i saw a different image in it and decided to go with the flow and this is what came of it.

What a tremendous contrast and kudos to you for following your imagination. I do like the original very much.
