namurray 0 Posted March 8, 2006 Number four, The Moss Factor, went on to win. Taken on a winter's day in low light at ISO800. Link to comment
susan stone 0 Posted January 7, 2007 Every time I view one of your racing images my heart beat quickens and I hear the roar of the crowd as the horses near the finish line! I miss the "Sport of Kings", I seldom get to the local track, it's a 200 hundred mile round trip and a very short racing season. Do you ever view Linda Keagles photos here on PN? She recently moved to Australia, I know it's a huge country but you two should get acquainted here on PN. Happy New Year and Sporting Neil. Link to comment
namurray 0 Posted January 8, 2007 Hello Susan, thanks for the kind comments. It is an exciting sport. I'm addicted to it actually. I'm conscious of my photography becoming more and more concentrated on horse racing and one dimensional. I've got to get back to doing some other types of photo. Your shots of ranch life and the outdoors always inspire me and I'm going to make a determined effort to do some outback landscapes this year. I haven't come across Linda's work but I've taken a peek at her portfolio and she looks to be very talented. I'll have a closer look and maybe leave a comment. Kind regards, Neil Link to comment
susan stone 0 Posted January 9, 2007 A "two dollar bet to win" can really up the excitment for me when those ponies come down the straightaway to the wire and my pick is in the lead. It is an exciting sport and I would go more often if I had the time and money. Link to comment
