garydad 0 Posted March 7, 2006 NIce attractive shot Bill. Pure simple composition with a shutter speed just slow enough to soften without being overdone. Link to comment
billfoster 0 Posted March 7, 2006 Thanks so much ... it's funny, my most important person in my life was just telling me how much she hated this and I was thinking about deleting it. You got it a reprieve! Link to comment
billfoster 0 Posted March 9, 2006 So, I was trying to make a little abstract of this rock in the middle of the river. It's gotten some really mixed reactions ... what do you think? Link to comment

Jack McRitchie 150 Posted May 29, 2006 Excellent shot here, one that I would be very proud to show if it were mine. In most pictures of rock and rushing water (it's hardly an original photographic idea, as I'm sure you're aware) the rock always seems almost impermeable to the powerof the onrushing water. But the rock here (perhaps because of it's high key coloration) seems to be holding on desperately against the overwhelming force of the current. In fact, it almost looks like the head of an animal of some kind swimming for its life. The whole picture including the rock seems to be in motion. Link to comment
