Great Grey Owl Robed

Looks to me like this Great Grey Owl had a hair perm and then put on

his royal robe....

I presume that he is all puffed up because of the cold or the wind.

 

It looks like the shutter speed and IS lens worked quite well.

nice shot, owls are so cool. the snow is perfect. did you use alot of PS to fix it, or is that just how it looked???? what size lens for that shot?
