Hi Sondra; where in the valley was this? My wife and I toured the Wine Country during our honeymoon (way back when!). I love the feeling of distance that you were able to get in this photograph. Beautiful rolling hills!

If you would have positioned yourself one or two steps over to the right, so that the POV was in the empty "lane", I would have given this a 7/7. Still a fine photograph! Regards.

Sorry Walter, I don't remember the winery or town we were in, but we were traveling on highway 29/128 through the valley. Cheers, Sondra

I like the strong receding perspective of the vineyard. I find the horizon is not as defined as I would like but that is a subjective point and others will no doubt disagree.

A very well done classical flavored image. Great use of the areas lines and curves. Thanks for sharing.

Sondra, as I recall, I sure didn't anything wrong with it. But then, we are usually our own toughest critics aren't we.....Wouldn't this also be a great IR shot as soon as the leaves are part way out?.....Jim

Nice! Well done. Every bit of the frame is full of interest, the rows in the foreground draw us in, and then the rows in the middle ground provide a wonderful sense of perspective. Good sky, too.
